the test is something like quiz for me

class ended right after the test

we went down for dinner

we ordered chicken soup with some very cute rice

rice that you need to mix with ur hand

and make them into rice ball

Stayed in room for better progress of writing

90% watching One Piece with Roomies

Fruit soju night at somewhere near McD

till from 1030pm -2am

Drink with Shirly, Yap, MengWei, ZhengJing, SohYee, Ken and CJ

were playing devil deck with 2 fruit cocktails, few bottles of Soju and 2 pineapple fanta

bought McD as supper on the way back

another episode of OnePiece before sleep

Saturday

woke up quite late

so didn't follow ken them to Pukyong

been lagging in room

then went out around 3pm

and to the Eobang Festival

at Gwangan Beach

the time i reached there was just nice

it's the starting of the Parade

the parade are quite interesting

cuz it's done by kids to somebody 50-60

a lot of musical stuff, dancing, and fishing show

after the parade

headed to the beach with my slippers on

nothing special but the Gwangali Bridge

a lot of people around most are older in age

stage show

fishing ceremony

then i met ken them around the ceremony

when the sky turned dark

is the time for fishing

the net was pulled up and people rushed for fishes

followed by fire was set by the side of the ship

and fireworks around Gwangali Bridge

we went for dinner and walked back to Pukyong area

for Fruit cocktails

we stayed till the last train

Sunday

it's time for Trick Art Museum

it's the last day of the event

so we must go there today

what is trick art

this is trick art in 2D

and this is in 3D

actual one is in this direction (just lie on floor)

it costed us 10,000 won (~RM28) per person

and Xiang got us coupon for this

else will be 12,000 won

then we went to Seomyeon for late lunch before we went back

it's Korean Hokkien Mee

went back to continue write paper again till next day

finally everything is over

Destination 5.2.7 : Week only working

The season of Sakura is considered over

and i guess everyone is sick of Sakura already LOL

this week is all about working

and i even skipped Tuesday Korean Class

+ all dance practice this week

i'm very exhausted after the really FULL-TIME WORKING

cuz normally i do take some rest between working hour but not this week

the problem is that...

i'm considered did nothing last week

the planning stage last week was a failure

so that's mean no outcome

our supervisor was sort of disappointed with our progress last week

so this week i'm only concentrate on character

from monday till friday

from scratch till code optimizing

참 (something like Oh... in english)

something nice happened on monday night

received a mail from our professor

our paper published for the conference is accepted

so we're attending the Korea Domestic Conference XD

+ we got an extra job

so good luck to us and hope that we can finish

both the project and all the extra works

now we're kinda worried that

we can't finished our project before june

there's still a lot of work to be done and we got around 1.5 months to do

we need plan B

my adapter is burned as i was using it on the hair dryer to dry my shoes

i washed my shoes as it's smelly... i wonder how

it smells really bad till i cannot wear it

so i washed it and i dunno how to dry it

i've been hanging it by the window for few days and it's dried now

but the smell still there a bit

after the korean class on thursday

went to HomePlus again to stock up my storage

this time is not that expensive as i only bought cheap and discounted items

+ we applied HomePlus member card for free

so we don't need to worry about member price anymore

i bought two packets of cereal as i almost eat it every night as supper

on friday

i left the lab around 5.15pm

as the lab is really hot and i'm going to faint

for dinner

we're having buffet BBQ again near our campus

the taste is not that good but it's kinda cheap

i had my haircut somewhere near my campus on saturday noon >.<

my hair is really really messy that i cannot take it anymore

1st time posting

so this is my korean hairstyle LOL

then i bought some shirt in Gmarket

one of my favorite is out of stock >.<

there's once happened last week for the color i prefer

now i pick another one and it's out of stock...

i didn't do any extra work on my hair as i need these money for Gmarket >.<

color my hair once will need to replace with around 3 - 4 clothes in Gmarket

+ there's still a lot of items in my wish list

my hair looks tidier and common now

i always think that today is sunday (actualy it's only sat)

and tomorrow is monday

am i that desperate for another monday?

this is an unknown tree near our campus

it's flower again...

then soju night this week is on saturday night

as i was very tired on friday & nobody organize

spent 4 hours sleeping on sunday noon

and this weekend is some sort like...

99% resting with 1% working

EXTRA :

by the way

my roomie is treating me too well >.<

i'm borrowing his mac monitor adapter to connect to extra monitor

they treat me herbal tea + medicine when i was having sore throat

then he treat me Godiva chocolate that his professor treat him

+ he lend me his extra adapter

and he treat me a very delicious milky taste pudding when they went out dating

it's really omg... they are treating me too good

how am i going to repay them >.<

this is the international house II that we're staying

and i lost my earring again...

i wonder where i put it after i took it off

Destination 5.2.6 : Cherry Blossom Week

This week was busying generating idea for the project

it supposed to work out fine

but after doing some researches and Cong Jie's comments

nothing works fine

so consider nothing is done within the week...

but this week is crazier than weeks before

It's the best week for Sakura (cherry blossom)

Sakura is all over in Korea

you can see them on any street around

even in our campus, DSU

April 6th, 2011 (wednesday)

today is my Dad's birthday

so the present was...

i spent some money on online shopping >.<

was planned to shop few days ago but there's malware in Gmarket

it should be fixed today so i was rushing to made purchase before another malware

i bought 3 items & CJ bought 2 with the total of 106,920 won

i supposed to buy 4 items but one of them is out of stock...

it's one of my favorite items

April 8th, 2011 (friday)

today we were touring around our campus for the very 1st time after lunch

supposed to find nice cherry blossom spot in the campus

but it's not that much than expected...

a garden in the campus

then we went to the library

this is the biggest library i've ever been

(since i only went to library in school)

actually this is more than a library

there's conferences hall, museum, 2 floors of books....

the stadium of the campus

then we went back earlier as our cargo are supposed to arrived today

last but not least...

our department building

and i'm working at the top floor

then our cargo finally arrived XD

with another one delayed as it is shipped with different company

that night, after dancing

another makori night

this time, it's less people as no special events

only chit chat and no games today

went back quite early and

there's no soju night for other...

seems like nobody organized today

April 9th, 2011 (saturday)

it's saturday again

and shirly suggested us to go somewhere

there's 2 choices for us to make

either in Gimhae or Haeundae

from the pictures she took last year

we chose Gimhae

ride on a very exciting bus

something like roller coaster i guess LOL

btw... korean driver is a bit scary...

they always apply last minute break

so a lot of us got sick in the bus

+ it's a bit hot inside

so we arrived at Yeonji Park

a huge park full of sakura trees

all the trees are surrounding a lake in the middle

we actually spent a lot of time taking photos

not photos of sakura... but photos of us LOL

i guess around 3/4 of my photos are Narcissism type >.<

we stopped and took photos no matter where we were...

so we've been staying on the same spot for more than 10 mins

whole day was photos taking only

then had barley rice as dinner before we go back

btw... the weather today was a bit warm

so i didn't bring any jacket and only short sleeves t-shirt i wore

April 10th, 2011 (sunday)

out with people from PKNU today

this session is reserved for weeks

and we're going to JINHAE

sakura again >.<

there's 22 of us

11 PKNU and 11 DSU

just nice LOL

woke up around 6.30 in the morning

and i slept for around 6 hours only >.<

OMG.... 1st time i wake up so early in korea...

then meet at 7.15am to take taxi

didn't bring jacket also but today wear new shirt

long sleeves black shirt from Gmarket

took 1hours+ of bus and reached Jinhae

climb 365 steps of staircase and reached a hill

quite a small area i saw...

just can see the whole Jinhae town from the tower

today was the last day of the sakura festival here

this place is very famous for sakura as all the people in korea

purposely come here for sakura

u'll see how serious it is later

after the tower

we went to had brunch as somebody haven't taken any meal

and this time...

we're lack of 6,000 won when we paid

wonder who did this again

it might be the shopkeeper also as there's too many of us

street full of people

and we're walking to the next destination

we reached for the bridge

and it's extremely beautiful

it's more than a painting from any artist...

and of course, it's my narcissism time again XD

a lot of nice photos

but my camera is not good enough to take the falling petals of sakura

it's really pretty and i don't even know how to describe

i'm totally speechless for this

sakura petals falling non-stop

and the river is full of petals flowing down

the only problem is the people around

too crowded XD

since it's the last day

this is the the reason for the best sakura spot in korea

next... we're searching for marine marching band

somehow we're lost somewhere

and some other people also lost somewhere behind...

but we finally reached the marine school

and there's no marching band

but we're there for the Turtle ship

i misheard it as "Ghost Ship" as first (鬼船，龜船)

the ship is just an very old ship

that we can enter to take photograph

nothing much i guess

then we left and we found something interesting

we're going to wear Marine costume for FREE

2 types -> olden and modern

and

i looked so cool when i was in the modern marine suit XD

our gang took almost all of the costume and been using them for quite a long time

LOL

spent a lot of time taking photos and we left for dinner before going back to busan

some random shop we entered

we ate something really tasted like Sukiyaki

it's really delicious (forgot to take photo again)

the sky is already dark and we're going back to Busan

with a very long queue...

we queue for 1.5 hours for the bus

really OMG...

some people even cut queue without us noticing....

there's 17 of us there and nobody realize that

they're couple luckily they didn't ride on the bus with us

they chose to wait for the 2nd bus LOL

another 1+ hours in bus

and it's another tiring week >.<

now i have too many Narcissism photo

and i don't know which should be my profile photo in FB >.<

Destination 5.2.5.2 : Flower Season with Gwangju's Friends

April 2nd, 2011 (Saturday)

so... where do we go on saturday with the gwangju's people

vinny and murphy today?

it's nampo-dong again

maybe just for the Busan Tower...

all of us got excited before we reached the tower

so what's going on...

we were 發花’癲‘ (mad at flower)

1st was Magnolia

the first tree full of white flowers we saw

then we saw Maehwa

a bit tiny but reachable

the tree ZhengJing took with Mengwei was better

but the flowers already fell...

there's few Maehwa tree there but not really much

this is the 1st time i see Maehwa

totally out of my expectation

it's so so so pretty

last one was Sakura tree XD

this tree is the tallest among the rest

when looks closer

it looks like Maehwa

the Maehwa we saw was more pinky than sakura

then sakura tree is much taller than maehwa

and there's a small 'v' shape cutting at the end of sakura flower petal

this is the 1st time i'm seeing the real Maewha and Sakura

We supposed to see this flower in china and japan

not korea

so it's kind of lucky to had them in Korea

then we went up to the wide space below busan tower again

and we played a lot with the photobooth there

this time we took a very COOL looking random picture with it

and this time we went inside

only to the souvenir shop

not the tower

then Murphy and Cong Jie tried on taking some very gay photo...

LOL

after that...

back to the shopping street again

and we went to the Jagalchi Fish Market

full of weird seafood

there's a lot of penis like seafood...

and running away octopus

and back to the street again

to Music CD shop for a while

then lunch time

tried to get some cheap food as we'll be spending more for dinner later

salad noodle i guess

it's very spicy...

then we walked around (with phy and cj)

and saw a really crowded bakery shop

and i spotted a nice looking cake

bought it and ate it inside

what do you think it is?

at first it tasted a bit like wine...

soft creamy mousse cake

not that sweet as it is seen

it's actually yam cake

this is my first delicious cake i ate in korea

those i ate before is even worst than msia...

after that

we went to Hwa-myeong station for dinner

with the other Malaysian students study in Busan

when we waited in the station

there's few strangers talked with Yvonne

with malaysian chinese slang LOL

so i thought should be them

then i reconfirmed again

and that guy said that he would not miss the hair i got

so i was thinking...

did those senior of mine

told how we looked like with my hair???

actually... this guy is the stranger who added me in FB

LOL, he's a PhD student in PKNU

dinner -> Buffet BBQ

i was so busy with the food until i forgot to take picture...

i was eating non-stop okay

learned a lot of stuff from that PKNU senior also

dinner till around 10+ pm i guess (since 6+ pm)

12,000 won (~ RM 36)

quite worth actually as the taste wasn't that bad

just lack of dessert

korean doesn't practice having dessert after meal i guess

then shopping in Lotte Mart

bought biscuit again >.<

they are really cheap okay...

it's end of the day

but before sleeping

received a message from soh yee

commanding us to leave at 9.15am

if we wanna join her to 태종대 tomorrow

i just let my roomie decide as i'm running out of brain juice

April 3rd, 2011 (Sunday)

woke up around 8am...

by don't know whose alarm

but i'm the earliest one compare to my roomies + murphy

spent a lot of time to travel before our breakfast

so what we got for breakfast?

since food in restaurant was so so so expensive

(tourist area)

we had our breakfast in Family Mart

1,000 won instant noodle >.<

then we started climbing 태종대

1st spot... some port for ferry ride

took photos around the rocky area for 30mins...

then next one is cliff

(on the way to cliff)

wanna climb to the top

but it's kinda dangerous

it's very risky for clumsy me to climb up

we can see rocky beach on top of the cliff

then a lookout point for sea view

followed with a observation deck to an rock island

with the statue of mother with kids

then the last interesting spot was the lighthouse

we only took photos around that area

as Murphy and Vinny are in rush to go back to Gwangju

I thought they were not in hurry as they didn't tell us the time

so now we need to rush >.<

then we also walked to the memorial of some army

and a buddhist temple

back to the entrance again

we walked to the memorial park and took photo there

and back to Nampo-dong again

since we're in Nampo-dong again

i don't feel like going back so soon

+ i wanted to buy breakfast

so i stopped by in Nampo while the rest went back to hostel

what i found here?

DESSERTSSSS

i ate a piece of cake there

it taste so nice~

it seems so sweet but actually it's not

the mixture of the jam outside with the cake is just nice

soft texture

then i just walked around to check out other foods

not really interesting

i bought cakes for roomie + supper

and breads for breakfast before i leave Lotte Dept Store

Sweet Potato Cake & Orange Flavor Tart

soft texture as well and the taste hmmm...

not as high as my expectation

i was thought of using credit card

but don't how it's not really working

hope that it's not my credit card problem >.<

it's nampo-dong again...

but this time

there's some kind of performance at the center

not really sure what's it about

walked though some small alley

and ended up no where

took my dinner at some market area

and bought street food

i think that street foods suit me better

they're affordable and nice to eat

there's more street food on the other street but i was full

then i saw there's a street of fortune teller

and there's a lot of people queuing up for a stall

omg... queuing up for fortune telling

Film Street

it seems like there's no place for me to go anymore

so went back around 7-8pm

that's the end of my another weekend

2 more months and i'm returning to Msia
