Destination 5.2.14 : Last week in Busan

May 30th - June 7th

May 30th, Monday

supposed to meet professor at 1130

and it's cancelled because professor is busy

had Special 딱볶이 for lunch again

then helped soh yee to buy her train ticket and air baggage with my credit card very last minutes

and at least she's off and reached msia safely

spent my day clearing my my internship works

and started packing the souvenirs

i.e. removing casing to avoid the customs

at night was celebrating Yap's Bday in one of the chicken shop

it was really funny that

Ah Yap was the one ordered the food and he ask the waiter

"excuse me, today is my bday, is there anything free for me" (in korean)

when i heard it, i was like WTF and really LMAO

this is really my 1st time seeing this

normally people were only joking but didn't act

so what he got was a bottle of cola

shirly was here a bit late

so we were eating chicken with 2 bottles and 2 jugs of beer

been laughing at the rumors relationship there a lot LOL

May 31st, Tuesday

finally went to meet professor and had most of our thing done

except the evaluation form as he wanted to type with computer

and we supposed to have a nice farewell lunch

since there's some miscommunication in between

the lunch was changed to lunch in campus again

it's at the top floor of the new millennium building

+ there's final exam for our tuesday korean class

it's a bit difficult at Part A as we don't even understand what does it means

but the rest was simple

then we Xiang invited everyone in our class for farewell dinner tomorrow night

and everybody agreed and we're looking forward to it

were planning on the trip back to Seoul that night

but we always made no decision at the end

+ we missed the period for 30% KTX tickets discount

June 1st, Wednesday

supposed to meet professor but he's not in the office

and we planned to get the KTX tickets back to Seoul today

as we're going to get the cheaper tickets

but the professor didn't appeared and we didn't know what to do

so we reached our supervisor through gtalk

he said that he was home and asked us to wait for his reply

but we need to get our KTX tickets so we asked him again

then he said, leave him alone

he totally scared us...

and we don't dare to ask anymore

then we waited and finally he said that he'll be here soon

but it's kinda too late for us to get the tickets

so we just met him and get photographs with him

it's the farewell BBQ buffet

gathered everyone including Sornia who's been away from classes

+ Suzanna, a vegetarian also joining

(some of the girls)

but there's only Yap who was not from our Korean class

Sornia was walking slow as her legs weren't recovered yet

so we went to the same buffet BBQ we went last time

separated into 2 tables

and enjoyed ourselves

then all of us went crazy because of the Soju

everybody was drinking except some who doesn't drink

+ we meet new friends from there

Koreans who's undergoing final year in Japanese

SeulBee, GunTae, TaeYun & Kim2

we were making a lot of noises and taking photographs all over the places

even the boss also asked us to sit down but we didn't follow

when the dinner was ended

we spent a lot of time chatting outside of the restaurant

till we met Max and some of the people even left

2nd round was...

Karaoke

we supposed to sing for only an hour,

so we added another hour

but it was kinda too long for us

till we were running out of song to sing

i sang the most i guess

as nobody were choosing any songs

+ most of the people were tired

that's the end of another days

June 2nd, Thursday

time to planned for everything after Busan

so i was busying getting the brochures i want

and filtering them again and again

so i spent most of my days doing this

after korean class

most of the people went to Suzanna's friend's house for fun

while i went back to continue my planning

until i got summoned by Youngsil for drinking

but i need to wait for Xiang and CJ who haven't came back yet

we went down till they're back

went to some drinking restaurant with new people for me

it's Nekyeong and Amran

a korean graduated senior and a another indian senior

drank quite a lot cuz Youngsil told them that we are good in drinking

but we're not even a half if compare to them...

i'm really glad that they invited us out

we've learnt a lot from them in the culture of korean drinking

then 2nd round was the fruit soju again

they ordered so many till we couldn't finished that jug of beer

that's the end of our day again as everybody was tired

June 3rd, Friday

I don't really remember what did i do that day

maybe packing my luggage or whatsoever

but i remember the events since evening

went for sports with the people yesterday night

suppose to go for soccer but the field is occupied

so just had some casual sport and i was jogging for a while

left around 545 as there's appointment tonight

dinner with the girl they met yesterday

it was Rim and Yon

there's both Suzanna's coursemates

starting with McD then we went to Sarasake

a japanese theme drinking house

that we can't made lot of noises

drinking there for quite a long time

and learning korean

then we went to Karaoke AGAIN

this time...

we only pay for an hour

but we got another 2 hours extra

+ discount coupon we got from Sarasake

that's the end of the other drinking day

learnt something new from them

why do you think Korean are so tall

there's a reason behind it

it is because they do believe that

man below 180cm is a loser

so they grow so tall because they don't wanna be a loser

but i'm 5cm away from being the winner...

TODAY

is the official day of the ending of our internship

as coming monday is a holiday

and we'll be leaving on tuesday morning

HURRAYYYYYY

June 4th, Saturday

went for Korean final exam for thursday class

the spelling was the same, tough

but the rest was okay

took pictures with our teachers after the exam

then we rushed to the Sand Festival in Haeundae Beach

it's really far and we missed the parade as written in the schedule

the 1st thing we did was

queuing up...

for free cup of beer

+ lucky draw for soju

there was a walking soju keep bullying me

as he thought that i was japanese....

but so sorry, i'm not

then we saw the parade while queuing up

we rushed to it after that

and we managed to watched the 2nd half of it

but we saw the 1st half returning from the other direction

after that

head to the beach

there's full of sand sculptures

some was really nice and some were sort of common

but of course, even it's common, i can't create it

instead of sand festival

the dancing festival was hold together

then Lotteria for dinner (very crowded)

and casino

sad to say that

our air ticket is not exchangable to token as written in the magazine

it only applied to some of the international tickets

spent 1,500 won on slot machine

then went to the beach again for fireworks

while enjoying the night scenery

a couple of Americans approached us to join the game they're playing

i didn't join the rest for the game as i wanna enjoy the night peacefully

then the lady went away from the game and talked with us

she was saying how good is Christian and how bad are the rest

for me...

i don't really give a damn bout all this

as this is depends on people own believe

when the Muslim egyptian started to fight with her

i hinted to Yvonne to get us out from here

as she's free from both the chat and game LOL

then we managed to escape and went to walk around till the beach concert

spent a moment there and went back

the night won't end this young

plan for that night was last drinking session in dorm

we were separated into groups to get the chicken, beer and clean up

then we gathered in Ken's room for the 1st time and started eating the very good smelling chicken

we kept eating non-stop and it's not even enough

today is a bit special as Jing suggested ghost story telling

and of course he had the best stories among the rest

Yap's was okay at the climax but the ending was making everything a joke instead

then Xiang's was straightforward to the point and not scared at all LOL

the night ended earlier as we want to go for last shopping in Busan tomorrow

oh...

my specs was dead on this night

don't really know how but it just broke

so i can only wear contact lens before i get a new pair

this is the only spec i wear till broke instead of losing it

June 5th, 2011 (Sunday)

woke up very early for Seomyeon

1st was hmmm...

had a hair cut in Bin, a saloon

not bad and it's only 8,000won (~RM23)

the problem is that they don't understand english

cuz i wanted them to design my hair...

then been walking around to get the last souvenirs we need

from shoes shop to the newly opened Apple's store, freebies

to Spao and i ended up with a blue long sleeves collar shirt

it makes me look smart in it LOL (that's why i bought it)

then to cosmetic shop to get a lot of facial masks

Lunch was the Jajangmyeon we ate before

this time we got more that's the Mandu

then was waiting for Youngsil to go to the theme park in Gwangan

CongJie were trying to runaway while the train arrived

but don't know why he came out again and ended up

he carried our bags back LOL

we met Youngsil in the subway with Fahim

then Youngsil went out of the train to throw her rubbish and she missed the ride LOL

so we met her at the destination after that

and walked to the theme park passed by the Gwangali Beach

what we really wanna play there?

the Disco Jump again LOL

same price as the one in Seoul

but not that excited as we were not bounced a lot of times

it still made our hand pained like before

then they played bumper car

some of us didn't join as there's only 5

after that we went to dinner at some restaurant nearby

it's restaurant that serve raw fishes

freshly sliced and everything is raw

so i loved them a lot as i like sashimi

+ moving octopus tentacles

these tentacles were more active than those i ate before

taste? hmmm... around the same but the texture was somehow better

then Senior Nekkeong came with his gf

so we drink beer and chit-chat again

after a while we went to Seomyeon with CongJie and Yap along

to drink Beer that's tasted like coffee

for me i didn't taste any coffee in it

but the rest said that it's only a bit

it's because we went to the different shop that we're supposed to go

that shop moved already

then we went to arcade with the balance we got from the dinner

after minus the drink

the arcade we went were kinda big

but i didn't really know what to play

ended up walking around a lot

played initial D & shooting game

went back to Naengjong for another round

as we're afraid that we might missed the last train

ken and yap went back and didn't joined us

what we went for the night was

the 1st chicken shop we went with professor

this was the last time we drink with them

we drank a lot that day

+ yvonne and Xiang too

that was the 1st time yvonne drank this much

and she was definitely drunk

cuz she wanted to drink more

that night we learned on how to mix somek in glass with tissue to cover LOL

of cuz we had fun that night too

we, the malaysian juniors share for the meal + drink

as they treated us a lot days before

that's the end of our 2nd last night in Busan

i heard that Yvonne vomited right after she got into her room

at least Youngsil, Shirly, Xiang and Dongwoo's drive back

else i'm sure she can't get back already

June 6th, 2011 (Monday)

Last Day in Busan

woke up early in the morning again due to the alcohol...

luggage packing again in the morning

and went to HomePlus in the afternoon

was planned to eat the very famous cold noodle in busan

but the queue was so freaking long

i wanted to go back to eat but forgot

i'm really regretted for missing that cold noodle

ended up in HomePlus food court that's taste not bad also

shouldn't be buying anything but bought something as well

most of them are soju... gifts for friends

then took taxi back and continue packing my luggage

when it's around time

summoned by Xiang for the party later

it's the drinking session with the people we met in the buffet session

they're seulbee, guntae and taeyun

+ our classmates, pola, suzanna, haruka and youko

and the rest of us

so where did we go

the place we drank bamboo wine last time

(above sarasake)

guntae and taeyun can speak english well

but seulbee can speak mandarin well

the only thing was...

all of them are major in japanese

so i was sort of the translator for some games

played a lot of games

and took a lotsa photos with them

was only planned to drink makkoli and beer

but didn't know how we ended up with

2 pots of makkoli

5+ bottles of beer &

10+ bottles of soju

we were like OMG...

in the middle of the session

ken came with others malaysian seniors

that we're supposed to have dinner together

but since it's kinda last minutes and not confirmed

so we ended up here

we were supposed to drink with them

but all of us were mad in the game

i'm very sorry for that...

after that we went to mini mart as they wanted to eat ice-cream

then we went to McD to get some foods

and that's the end of our night

we were really having a lots of fun with them

although it's kinda short period we met them

back to the room and finished my final packing

and went to bed

ZhengJing was still packing but i wonder till when

June 7th, 2011 (Tuesday)

woke up early in the morning

and kinda late cuz need to clear up the balance

such as bed sheet and the cloth i was wearing

was considered late compare to the other

for waking up so early to send us off

it's really goodbye for us

and i hope that we can meet each other again

took 3 taxies to the busan station

and bye bye busan at 10:10am

Destination 5.2.13 : Last week of Intern

May 23rd - 29th

For work in internship

done with final touch on the project and

finished my final report in the week

was really tiring as didn't know what to write

at least everything is considered on sunday

coming week will be holiday mood for 2.5 weeks

May 24th, Tuesday, a raining day

went to post office to get my stuff shipped back to msia

since zinc wanna ship his stuff back

so i also got mine share with him

what we wanna ship was bunch of cloths

but they consumed too many spaces (air within)

spent almost an hour packing them into a very small box

because it's the biggest box to for sea delivery

was trying to squeeze all the air out

and taped the box to as small possible

spent a lot of free tape provided in the post office

just nice almost 19kg and 38,000 won

will wait for Zinc to deliver my stuff to me when he's coming to KL next time

their post office is really convenient

as everything needed like tape, boxes, specs are all readied for you to grabbed on your own

and even pay on your own (without the assistant of the people there)

May 25th, Wednesday

received my delivery from gmarket

purchased 3 surfing pants with average RM4o each

with another free one

then a multiway bag

+ lady gaga album

i'm not supposed to buy anything in gmarket already but...

surfing pants is considered cheap and nice looking if compare to msia

the multiway bag looks really nice for me but a bit too big in size

lady gaga album? malaysia might have already banned it for christianity...

kinda regret as i don't really like the songs inside

May 26th, Thursday

at night

planned to have yungfu's farewell after korean class

but he's having dinner with his labmates

then ended up with Xiang them for their 2nd round

they just finished their dinner with their professor and labmates

so what's their 2nd round and my dinner

it's raw octopus with moving muscles

it's already dead

instead octopus, there's other raw seafood

weird seafood that we can't get in msia (except squid)

it's kinda out of my expectation again

as the octopus muscles were not moving as active as i think

tasted just like raw fish

so as other seafood but some of them tasted really "fishy"

it's really interesting as YoungSil as a Korean also never tried some of them before

these are the living one from those seafood we ate

then 2nd round for yungfu as he just finished his shower as we came back

went to eat korean pancake with 막걸리

it's the first time i went there and infinite times for other

ordered some very nice pancake

from best to not so good of the night

fish pancake

taste like fish and chips without chips

potato pancake

taste really good but don't know how to describe

kimchi pancake

seafood pancake

and drank 막걸리... course drank too fast

so got a bit giddy after that

that's the night for thursday

May 27th, Friday

planned to go to Busan's best club Maktum

but it was sort of a raining day

i really wanted to go but don't feel like going that time

if i don't go then when should i go?

nvm... keep it to next time

but there's an excuse for me not to go

drink with others

when to drink with group of seniors

korean and non-korean

snacks were chicken (original and curry)

the curry is very nice and i like it a lot

original one is also as nice as what we normally ate before

drank 2 shots at 1st

1st - 소멕 (beer + soju)

2nd - Fantasia (Pinapple fanta + beer + soju)

fantasia really tasted more like very gassy fanta

after was either 소멕 or cola + beer + soju

the cola + beer + soju was really... hmmm...

i just don't like the taste of it

after that 2nd round in karaoke

really omg... korean really can sing well

those tune they sang was so freaking high and good

there's no 3rd round today so went back after 2nd session

May 28th, Saturday

woke up at 9 because of the noises outside...

it's too early and i didn't sleep well

went to Nampo-dong again to buy souvenirs

brunch of the day was

octopus again

for my standard it's not really spicy

but i was still sweating like hell

it's really nice to eat with rice

then walking around to buy souvenirs

and found the shop that others said is cheaper

we were trying to speak in malay so that we can bargain for more

bargaining is not my skill so i always need help for this

what i bought here were mainly snacks for relatives

막걸리 chocolate and spicy chocolate + ginseng tea

they're not cheap though

they lady boss didn't give us much discount...

next time should ask the man boss to calculate for us

+ credit card is not accepted

so i have to pay cash

my balance cannot last me in busan anymore

then we went to find some special souvenirs

and cong jie and soh yee were having duet there LOL

walking around...

queuing up for a very long queue snack

something special bout this is that it is wrapped with nuts

met with soh yee around 545 as she's walking alone again

and went to house party in senior's place (dom dom and YY)

been chit-chatting and steam-boating with 20 people in a room

kinda packed but still can move around

leave at 11+pm to catch the last train

was invited to club after i finished my shower

+ the subway is already closed and the venue is really far...

next time then

May 29th, 2011

slept till very late to cover the lost few days before

everything only started while having farewell for soh yee

what we did was pancake house again

with something extra

mussels in chili soup

taste wasn't bad + it's only 3,000 won (~RM9)

and we bought this on the way to karaoke

some tasteless korean snack

in karaoke sang for almost 2 hours for around RM6 without drinks

we ordered 1.5hours and 0.5 was free (korean way)

korean karaoke will always give some additional time in karaoke

it'll depends on how much they give only

sleep at 3 something again and couldn't sleep well...

next will be last week in busan already

time to plan for the travel schedule

Destination 5.2.12 : Drink drink drink & party

May 17th - 22nd

Wednesday dinner, 17th

Young Sil brought us to eat fish in Jurye

heard that this is one of Busan's dishes

taste good and lotsa veggies

the texture of the is kinda chewy

something like those expensive fish we eat in malaysia

added a bowl of potato noodle in each plate before finished

the noodle also taste good with a bit of potato aroma

19th, Friday night

went to drink again with seniors :

Young Sil, Shirly, Yap, Tim, Whye Kit

Soh Yee, Yung Fu, and Zinc

1st round soju with nice snack

BBQ pork with chewy bones

BBQ Chicken

port tasted better than chicken

should be different kind of spice they used

2nd round : Bamboo alcohol

with Tim, Whye Kit and Yung Fu gone

Kimchi with Tofu

Pancake (taste like Roti Kosong)

1st time drink bamboo alcohol

tasted suck for me

but they said that another brand one taste better

and i hope that the brand i bought before is the nice one

we've been chatting about our grandparents background here LOL

3rd round : Karaoke

with Dong-woo and his friends + the rest minus Yap

sang till 230 and gone back to online a while only sleep

May 21st, 2011

planned to watch 4D movie today

and woke up around 1230

because other knocked on our door to wake us up >.<

omg

it was really nice sleep actually

quickly woke up and prepared to go out

reached the world largest department store

Shinsegae

check at the box office

and only 3 tickets left for 4D

there's no Fast 5 but only Caribbean

actually all of us prefer Fast 5 but there's no 4D for it

so what did we do there?

loitering at the 3D exhibition there

it's starcraft II in 3D

we also played a while there

then to the sky bridge, bookstore, ice rink

and the part next to the department store

the very great looking statues in lotte dept.

next to shinsegae

moved to PKNU for another loiter

+ multiple birthdays celebration

nothing much again and waited a while for gathering time

supposed to eat beer can chicken

waited for quite a long time then the appetizer reached

good looking but sort of tasteless

and was told that they don't have the chicken after we finished our appetizer

WTH... we've been waiting for so long there

won't they tell us when we took order long time ago?

+ that tasteless appetizer costed us 35,000 per plate...

i won't mind if i got the chicken but i didn't

but we drank few jugs of beer

so we just left and seek for dinner

multiple recommended restaurant is already closed down

there's nothing left to eat and we ended up in karaoke lounge

the 1st karaoke lounge was really classy look

seems like night club with a lot of lights

but it's already full so we went to another one

and started the party there

bday celebration to Megan, Sarah, Gamy and Yap

not the same day but celebrate together

we sang till missed the last train

actually we purposely missed it

course we're hitting the club in this area

but went for supper before the party

in BBQ

and i lost 3 out of 4 drinking games here...

lucky or unlucky?

there's few clubs around but we went for the

cheapest and most happening one

it's only 5,000 won (~RM 15)

with a drink (beer/juice/cocktail)

shot only cost 3,000 won (~RM9)

okay... i bought 2 shots of whiskey

open from 12 to 6am (earliest subway run at 530)

really cheap right?

environment there is really not bad

although it's only size of a shop lot

(really a shop lot on 2nd floor)

but it's not that crowded as the one we went in seoul

music? mostly english and not really new

new song only play for a chorus and skipped...

korean song? even less and those k-pop song they played

i've heard of it or i got their album

(k-pop albums i owned is less than 10)

people here shuffle or just bounce hardly

even gals also shuffle

okay... to be honest

msia gals does dress sexy in club

mini skirt, high heels with sexy dance

but korean people shuffle better in style

and only shuffle they do nothing else...

so i stay there till 5.30

they stopped the music since there's nobody there

and i almost missed the station that i'm supposed to

really felt asleep deeply in the train

didn't take any photo as my pants were not convenient to put camera

else there's be some SS for sure

sunday?

rest in the room whole day without going out

plan for bicycle ride was cancelled as well

Destination 5.2.11.2 : Conference in Jeju Island

May 13th - 16th

today is already 22nd and i'm getting lazy to blog >.<

before we leave for Jeju

we pay 10k for stay and transportation

4 days 3 nights

it's consider cheap for

then we paid another 60k for the entainment

such as entrance fees to park and touring area

and discounts are already included

the trip included

Korean seniors - Young Sil, Dong Woo & Beum Su

Shirly and Fahim then Soh Yee, Xiang and Cong Jie

on the 1st day, May 13th Friday

Our ticket is one hour later than the rest so we leave late and arrive late

once we arrived, straight away head to our 1st destination

a memorial park for a legendary woman from the past

she seemed to be a doctor last time

the park filled with a lot of huge tress

and the weather was really nice for touring

then we went to our apartment to put our stuffs there

cuz the car was full of our stuffs till it's hard for us to sit

it's really nice apartment actually

clean and spacious

good for party

move on to the next destination

waterfall

and it's already evening when we reached there

natural environment

full of Jeju Guardians

mountain of trees with clear blue sky

even the moon was already out that time

we've walked for quite a distance till we reach the waterfall

it's not that gorgeous as my expectation

and other said like we've reached China

it somehow seems like China scenery

of course the Korean seniors did a lot of crazy stuff

something i found was

korean travelled faster than us

that's how they can pack in a lot of places into a day i guess

before the day end

went to HomePlus for groceries

they planned to have home cooked dinner + breakfast

cuz it's expensive to eat in Jeju

but drinks (in alcohol) are more than every other things

normally Korean seniors are those who do the cooking

i somehow felt uneasy as they are the only on doing all the job

and i'm the one who enjoy >.<

dinner for the day : 김치찌개 (kimchi soup) with "hard" rice (malaysian style LOL)

long waited dinner (1st meal after 10 something in the morning)

i should be washing the dishes but it ended up they washed everything

because i eat too slow

been enjoying watching Transformers 2 movie

since they're cooking (for around 2 hours)

and after dinner

enjoying cool beer while watching movie

4 bottles gone for the 1st night

2nd day, 14th Saturday

day to attend conference for presentation

woke up really early as everyone is rushing for the toilet

reached there quite early also as it's far from where we stayed

i'm the 5th one

was a bit late for the session as waiting for my photographer to record for me >.<

it made me nervous to be the present somewhere behind

don't know why, i'm the last one to present instead of 2nd last

i presented in english and

most of the people around don't understand english

but at least there's one

and he asked question too

i think that i didn't present well

the timing is still okay as i'm around 1-2mins faster

but i lost my content

i didn't present the way i wanted to be

and i didn't express myself enough

after the presentation

cong jie told me that part of my presentation was wrong

i thought it the way i expressed but no

it's the content

i was like what the hell

i really didn't know about it...

so the presentation wasn't good at all

meet our professor and we followed him to Sami's presentation

told the rest that we'll be meeting them in the canteen later

we were sort of late to canteen because we were waiting for professor

and it's quite a distance for us to walk there

we shouldn't be able to have our lunch there as

we our professor didn't buy us a separate entry

thanks to Sami

he asked for free coupons for us

but we ended up waited there for sometime as they were out of food

omg... + the rest were waiting for us

i really speeded up eating

and rush to them

we always keep them waiting >.<

then to mystery road where is near to Jeju University

at 1st we could get how mysterious it was

because we started from the wrong direction LOL

(starting? should move to where is facing me, not behind of me)

then it's somehow mystery cuz

we're supposed to fall back when the gear is in neutral

but somehow we were moving forward from our view

yeah~ it's mystery

then we went to another stop

Love Land

but we played with another mystery road again in front of it

this one is more mysterious as we can really see and that we should be hiking a hill

but we're still accelerating forward in neutral gear

it's loveland

a park for age 19+

they're supposed to be artistic

but due to our really corrupted brain

it turned our to be the way we want LOL

so what is this place

it's a open air park with a lot of "artistic" statues

with a lot of different "poses"

there's a lot of outrageous photos we took

not only the statues but with the statues LOL

interesting and fun place to visit (i'm pretty sure for everyone)

the teddy bear museum

out of my expectation again

i thought the teddy bears will be everywhere for us to play

but they are all sealed in boxes...

so we only take photos of teddy bears with a lot of reflection of the glasses

did planned to buy teddy bear for souvenirs

but then i've given up once i read "made in china"

walked to the next destination

Yeomiji Botanic Garden

took a train ride around the garden

that contains a lot of smaller themed garden

such as korean, japanese and french

+ a very large field in the middle

french garden did really attracted us that made us walked back to it

french garden is really nice when you look in far

just so so when you really enter the garden

of course took a lot of photos again

then to the very wide field in the middle

took a lot of photos like monkey there LOL

we spent more time here as we couldn't make it to other places already

every places will be closed around 6 and it's already 5 something when we're here

but i heard that some of the tickets are refundable if we didn't use them

so we went to the center building which contains few greenhouses inside

from deserted to tropical

we stayed there till it closed

some pretty blue flowers planted by the street

another round to homeplus again

to restock more water + 'drinks'

with extra foods

this is more like our MUST HAVE routine everyday

dinner today is faster because we were having instant pan-mee for dinner

today i'm the one cleaning the dishes with soh yee

so i'm better than doing nothing already (doesn't feel that guilty anymore)

it's time for drinking

didn't drink much yesterday course of conferences

but today is not the same

snacks for drinking session

sweet potato in sugar coating (thanks to the ladies for preparing this)

everybody's plan to make Xiang drink only

and he really drank a lot too

few cups in shot

then were playing games while drinking Meekju (soju+beer)

couldn't drink anymore as it's too gassy

so i drank Soju instead

2 shots in few minutes

straight away down and sleep till don't know what's going on

they even help us to put on the floor mattress >.<

and cong jie told me that i was using the blanket for 2 alone

i really didn't know that since i was so 'drunk'?

i should say sleepy instead

cuz i remember that i didn't do any funny stuff instead of sleep

after drinking

result of the night

15th Sunday

sleep till don't know when

but we only left at 12 noon

really late for traveling i'm sure

cuz everybody was so tired

1st stop of the day was

ATV (all terrain vehicle)

we've been waiting for sometime because there's 9 of us

i'm the only one having camera one

cuz it's dust proof

we were lead by a person there through the route

it's really nice scenery from our ride

but very dusty

sometimes i purposely wait for the person in front to be in distance

so that i can drive faster or even drive through some rocks

this is what excitement should be

and took quite a number of nice photos there

next destination was kinda far

it's a setting purposely built for drama

it seems more like the real castle we visited

of course this is more interesting than those castles

but smaller in size

then to a place where soh yee wanna visit

but we stopped by half way to get our light lunch

it's waffle by the sea (i supposed it should be seaside)

really windy and cold

then till a hill by the sea

which is really famous for sunrise

the problem is that we need around 2 hours for a round trip

+ most of the people are not going up

soh yee and xiang planned to go halfway then come down again

and i planned to join them (it's better than wait there i guess)

but we need to get ticket to go in

so we ended up in the souvenir store below

buying a lot of Jeju orange products

i didn't buy cuz i dun like orange flavor food

except pure orange itself (or juice)

then to a seaside area

another setting for a lot of movie also

i don't really know the name of this place

but it looks really nice from photos

and from far LOL

wide field with the house like building in the middle

then lighthouse by the cliff

guess what we saw there

a board with graffiti on it

and guess who did it

it's MALAYSIANSS

OH MY FUCKING GOD

this really is the embarrassment for malaysia

are you nut or something?

telling people that this is an act of malaysian...

guess where's our last stop?

it's market again

to shop the the dinner tonight

BBQ at the garden

their BBQ is really like the BBQ in Korean restaurant

it's totally not like what we normally do in malaysia

so called BBQ chicken with stick on

AGAIN...

we didn't help in cooking again

didn't feel good at all

course we are eating while they're busy cooking

but at least i did the cleaning again

and everybody slept earlier as too tired

Last day, 16th

consider as no activity today

just headed to airport and fly back to Busan

flight for CJ and I were supposed to be at 2 something pm

while there rest is around 11am

thanks to young sil

she helped us to change our flight to the same as them

there's a way we don't really practice in malaysia

we can change our flight last minute if there's seat left

(people who didn't checked in the last few minutes)

so we'll be listed in the standby queue and wait for our ticket

luckily there's seats for us

and 100% transfer with no surcharge (if the cost is the same)

appreciation to the seniors

in order to thanks the seniors for everything in Jeju

including planning, taking care of us, cooking, just everything

i bought 2 cans of coffee for each of them

since they like coffee very much

i really appreciate and felt guilty for the troubles caused

and the car we've been traveled in Jeju

Update May 24th:

Bought souvenir from Jeju

Jeju Hallabong 한라봉

it's not cheap anyway

one box is 30,000 won (~RM90)

so i shared with shirly for this

so what's so special with this "orange" thingy

its taste is not really as strong as normal orange

but it's juicy (even its skin)

in korea, there only one place to get this -> Jeju
