Day 4 in Seoul
planned to go to ski today
but didn't planned anything for it yet
so went to soh yee's room and she ask dr wong
since we were kinda late already
we planned to go for the evening session 6.30p.m.- 10.00p.m.
we kind of separated in 2 groups
the ski group and the winter sonata group
cuz some people don't wanna ski
and i'm desperately wanna ski (Mengwei, ZhengJing, Murphy and I)
this can be once in a lifetime experience
so i don't wanna miss it
so what's the plan before the ski
we discussed in McD with their pork Bulgoki burger
not bad actually but it's kinda small
while eating, read on the traveling book that Mengwei borrow from her library
so we planned to go to the Korean style housing, N Seoul tower then to ski
1st destination 남산골한혹마을 (nam-san-kul-han-hok-ma-el)

this place used to be some rich man house last time
and now it's a tourist area
there's a big area there with those games korean used to play

just like what we see in those oldies korean drama i guess
we reached a park...
the scenery in the park is very nice
cause leaves on the tree already fall
then we also went into the forest and play with the dried leaves
there's a weird round area on the middle of the garden
i guess it's a place to watch the N Seoul Tower
it might be very nice in the night
but we played it with a different manner

since there's still some time
we planned to go to N Seoul Tower instead
from the guide book
it said that we need to go to Myeongdong there
and take cable car up
but we found no cable car
and we met 2 malaysian there
they said we need to take cab to reach the cable car station
so we cancelled our plan as well
and went to have earlier dinner somewhere around there
i'm not sure what is this thing called
it's what the whole table eat the whole pan
so we can only order one dish and share
they cooked the dish right on our table

We spent some time in Myeongdong again as Phy wanna buy soon his SNSD album XD
after that we left for ski
reached the station then asked the guard working in the glass station on how to get there
it seems like he don't understand so we try to ask other people
we were kinda late already
so we decided to take a cab
the cab said that he know how to go
then he started to call
and when the cost reached 4,000 won
he said that we need 2 hours to get there (~200km)
what the hell... then don't tell us you know how to go at first
we called the resort people to confirm
and they said only 20mins to reached there
we spent quite some time to called and checked
now it's kinda late already
so no point going there also
finally SKI CANCELLED
i felt like crying okay
i'm so despo to ski
and so it's cancelled...
now we need some backup plan...
mengwei suggested us to try korean sauna (찜질방,jjimjilbang)
when we reached there
we saw only old people go in...
so we were like... are we in the right place?
we went in also, phy and zhengjing were kinda shocked
cuz need to get for shower nakedly
we dressed in the cloth they gave us
and search through the whole area for the sauna
the sauna area is a sharing area (for both gentle)
there's 3 saunas, one is 74 degree celsius, 92 degree celsius and one is in negative
between these saunas, there's also massage chairs, cabins for sleeping
and a wide area for people to watch TV, gathering and everything (without chairs, sit on floor)
we stayed in the 74, then the freezing one and the 92 one
then rest for a while at the wide area there
and went to shower
it's something like the japanese style ofuro i guess
and we leave this area for more activities
it's time for 동대문 (dong-dae-mon)
the shops there open till 4a.m.
i heard this building is favorite place for girls
while we were finding food around
we saw somebody shouting
and we saw an amusement ride
Disco Jump
it seems very fun so we played also
3,000 won per pax
i don't really know how to explain this ride
it'll just bounce you till u give up
+ no safety belt is provided
so we need to support ourselves with both hands
we didn't really want to have another bounce after the 1st time
my hand can't support anymore... almost going to fall
felt really good after this ride
i felt doesn't matter on ski anymore already after this
time for dinner
BBQ this time
there's only 3 people working here
and it's hard for us to get them
cuz we're sitting near the door
taste not bad actually
then we spent another our in the mall
that opened till 4.30a.m.
oh.... by the way
korea does have pirated stuff also
like those branded handbags and clothing
cuz you can get them at those stall in myeongdong
and in the mall with very cheap price
phy went to the men departments
and approached by a shopkeeper right after the elevator
so phy asked for leather jacket
and i went to walk around the level
i found out that everybody in this level is very aggressive
there's even a man pulling on my shirt... OMG...
when we wanna leave... it's started to rain already
we just went to find a cab
and it costed us 40,000won in total...
it's kinda far so we didn't really care
that's all for that day also
we still need to sleep earlier so that we can really go to ski tomorrow
it'll be the last day in Seoul already
As for the other team :
when we reached the hotel
they said they didn't went to nami island
the place where the drama winter sonata was shot
so our group was like WTH
how come same as us one...
it supposed to be their main attraction of the day like ours (ski)
it's because of the cab also
the cab also started with they know how to go
and dropped them half way
so they went to the olympic stadium
and bigbang is going to have their concert that night
OMG... it's Big Bang
they got few copies of the poster and post cards
i also received one copy from them also
so my team still think that
our activities today seems more interesting XD
